Job summary
Uniti, a premier telecommunications provider, seeks a Manager of Local Operations to lead technicians who install and repair services for residential and business customers nationwide. You will drive safety, scheduling, and performance while maintaining strong customer relationships.
The role requires a college degree with 5–7 years at professional level and 2–3 years of supervision, or 9+ years in a related technical/telephony field, with a focus on safe, compliant operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; 5–7 years professional experience with 2–3 years supervisory experience or 9+ years in related field.
- Experience in telecom/field operations preferred.
- Safety-sensitive role requiring compliance with OSHA and DOT guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead technicians across residential and business installations and repairs; review quarterly performance and enforce procedures.
- Oversee installation/repair functions and central office maintenance; monitor trouble patterns.
- Track CO/OSP progress, inspect work, manage change orders, and coordinate job cut-overs.
