Job summary

Uniti’s Customer Service Technician role focuses on installing and repairing residential and business communications services across the United States. You’ll train with test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs, while recommending solutions to meet customers’ needs.

You’ll operate company vehicles, work in buried or aerial plant, and perform both indoor and outdoor tasks. Safety training is required, and you’ll report to Local Operations management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb poles or ladders.
• Ability to work day, evening, weekend and holiday hours.
• Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded cables.
• Must complete required safety training.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and work with tools and test equipment to provide service of multiple different technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services that resolve their communications needs.
• Work in both buried and aerial plant requiring pole climbing and ladder skills.
• Safely operate and maintain clean and organized company service vehicle.
• Work in both inside and outside environments.
• Complete necessary safety training and follow safety standards and regulations.
• You will report to the Manager of Local Operations.
