Job summary

Uniti is seeking a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business communications services across the United States. You will train with test equipment, assist customers in selecting suitable products, and support multiple technologies and network designs.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work aloft.
• Willingness to work day, evening, weekend and holiday hours.
• Ability to climb ladders and use tools safely.
• Color vision for color-coded cables.
• Safety training completion and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business services for phone, internet and video.
• Train with tools and test equipment for various technologies.
• Recommend products and services to meet customer needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant; climb ladders and use safety gear.
• Maintain clean, safely equipped company vehicle.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
