Job summary

Uniti is seeking a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business telecom services, including telephone, internet, and video, across U.S. markets. You will use test equipment and safety procedures to ensure service quality and safety.

The role reports to the Manager of Local Operations and requires basic tech skills, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree in computers/electronics preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record required.
• Basic technology and math skills necessary.
• Willingness to work schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb safely.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train with tools and test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services to resolve customer needs.
• Work in both buried and aerial plant; climb poles and use ladders as needed.
• Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle.
• Work in inside and outside environments; adhere to safety standards and regulations.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
