Uniti Group Inc. seeks a Manager of Local Operations to lead field teams in installation, repair, and central office maintenance. You will monitor performance, enforce procedures, and coordinate schedules to ensure high-quality service across the United States.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and cost control while collaborating with local authorities and customers to maintain a positive company image.

Qualifications

• College degree and 5-7 years professional level experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience.
• 9+ years related technical and/or telephony experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience as acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage technicians in residential and business installations and repairs, review quarterly, ensure procedures followed.
• Oversee installation/repair and central office maintenance; analyze trouble patterns to reduce issues.
• Monitor CO/OSP jobs, inspect after completion, schedule cut-overs, handle after-hours problems.
• Use ETA to monitor tasks, prepare monthly work schedules, track performance.
• Provide safety training, maintain OSHA records, investigate accidents.
• Maintain DOT driver files, monthly summaries, daily inspections.
• Control controllable expenses, monitor inventory in office and vehicles.
• Monitor facilities including buildings, grounds, and vehicles; plan tool budgets.
• Collaborate with city/county officials and customers to uphold Uniti image.
