You will work on buried and aerial plant, requiring pole climbing and ladder use, while delivering reliable service and product recommendations.

The role emphasizes safety training, vehicle upkeep, and flexibility to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours as needed. Reports to the Manager of Local Operations.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded cables.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and work aloft.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services (telephone, internet, video).
• Operate and train with test equipment and tools for multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services to resolve customer needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant, climb poles and use ladders as needed.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicle while following safety standards.
