Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business telecom services across our markets. You will work with test equipment, recommend solutions, and operate company vehicles while ensuring safety and reliability.

You’ll handle indoor/outdoor work, climb ladders, and participate in safety training with a cross-functional team reporting to Local Operations management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors in use of color-coded cable.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work aloft.
• Ability to complete required safety training.
• Ability to work varied schedules including day/evening/weekend/holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and work with tools and test equipment to provide service of multiple technologies.
• Recommend products and services that resolve customers’ needs.
• Work in both buried and aerial plant, requiring pole climbing and ladder use.
• Safely operate and maintain the company service vehicle.
• Work in inside and outside environments and complete safety standards.
