Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Pick & Prep team member to actively engage guests with product preparation, sampling, and storytelling about fresh, healthy, seasonal items. The role emphasizes superior guest service, merchandising in the Pick & Prep area, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards across the department.

Responsibilities include engaging guests, demonstrating knife skills, operating the Pick & Prep area, and supporting receiving, stocking, and guest service activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality required.
• Must engage guests and enjoy storytelling about products.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.
• Willingness to learn knife skills.
• Effective communication and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Able to work with supervision and computers/scales.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests through product preparation and sampling.
• Demonstrate superior guest service and storytelling about products.
• Show knife skills and explain Pick & Prep services.
• Operate Pick & Prep area to merchandising standards.
• Maintain product quality and Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the department.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Make PA announcements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
