Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is hiring for a Pick & Prep associate in a local, friendly environment. You will prepare products, engage guests with sampling and storytelling, and operate the Pick & Prep area to meet merchandising standards.

You will demonstrate knife showmanship, ensure product quality and safety, and perform PA announcements while delivering outstanding guest service and teamwork with colleagues. Training provided locally and ongoing supervision is available.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and willingness to engage guests.
• Ability to actively engage guests and make the experience fun.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend and move for extended periods.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations and knife skills.
• Demonstrates communication, guest service, and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old and comfortable with computers and scales.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and follow supervision.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, sampling and selling.
• Demonstrate superior guest service and storytelling about products.
• Showcase knife skills to highlight services offered in Pick & Prep.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to merchandising standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the department.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, merchandising and guest service.
• Perform PA announcements as required.
• Fulfill other duties assigned by management.
