Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is looking for a Pick & Prep team member to actively engage guests with product preparation, sampling, and suggestive selling. You will tell stories about fresh, healthy, seasonal, and local products while upholding department standards.

The role requires knife skills, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion. Candidates must be 18 or older and comfortable with computers and scales.

• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to take direction from supervision.
• Ability to work with computers and scales.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, active sampling and suggestive selling.
• Personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times with storytelling about products (Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal and Local).
• Demonstrate knife showmanship to highlight Pick & Prep services.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising and guest service as necessary.
• Perform PA announcements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
