Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is hiring for a Pick & Prep attendant to actively engage guests, demonstrate knife skills, and provide high-quality product preparation and service. You will help maintain sanitation, manage stocking and merchandising, and contribute to a local, fresh, and seasonal shopping experience.

The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift weight as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and willingness to engage with guests.
• Ability to actively engage guests and demonstrate guest service skills.
• Ability to work well with others and learn multiple tasks.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Read and understand information and direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations or willingness to learn.
• Demonstrate knife skills and service demonstrations.
• Effective communication and selling skills with guests.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel for extended periods and use computers/scales.
• Willingness to follow supervision and directives.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation and sampling.
• Provide superior guest service with storytelling about products.
• Demonstrate knife showmanship and promote Pick & Prep services.
• Operate Pick & Prep area following merchandising standards.
• Ensure product quality meets company standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the department.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, merchandising and guest service.
• Make PA announcements as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
