Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation in Springfield, MO is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our team. You will deliver freight with flatbed and curtain side equipment, secure loads, and interact with customers while maintaining safety standards.

Expected duties include timely deliveries, DOT inspections, and managing POD paperwork. We offer comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and a supportive driver community.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record is required.
• Ability to secure loads; work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. No tarping - only strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers when required.

What You'll Deliver

What You'll Need To Deliver

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe Driving Record
• Ability to secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
