Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation in Florida is hiring truck drivers to help deliver freight with home every night and weekend. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, and a clean driving record. You will secure loads, manage PODs and DOT inspections, and communicate professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe Driving Record.
• Ability to secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions; DOT inspections experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.
