Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation is seeking a driver to deliver freight with a valid Class A CDL. You will secure loads and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Ability to secure loads and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping - ONLY strapping
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required

What You’ll Deliver
