Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking CDL drivers to deliver freight with flatbed and curtain-side trailers. You will be home every night and weekend, starting pay of $27.33 per hour, and first-shift hours.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, minimum 21 years of age, and 12 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience. You will stay compliant with safety checks, DOT inspections, and load security. New equipment and benefits support the driver-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum age 21.
• At least 12 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years.
• Safe driving record and ability to secure loads.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads using straps; no tarping.
• Deliver freight accurately and handle customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct unloading by customers when required.

What You'll Deliver:

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping - ONLY strapping
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required
