Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking professional CDL drivers for Minnesota with the goal of safe, timely freight delivery. You will be home every night and weekend, earning a starting pay of $33.77 per hour.

The role features first shift hours, flatbed and curtain side trailers with no tarping, and new safe equipment. You will deliver loads, secure shipments, handle returns, and complete DOT inspections and paperwork while maintaining professionalism with customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to secure loads and operate in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct unloading by customers when required.

What You’ll Deliver:
