Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL driver in Lake City, FL. You will deliver freight, securely strap loads (no tarping), and handle customer returns while maintaining DOT logs and paperwork. Candidates must meet safety and experience requirements and will work a standard first shift.

Qualifications

• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Safe Driving Record.
• Ability to secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required. Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.
