Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking professional drivers for first-shift routes with home nightly and on weekends. Starting pay is $31.25 per hour, with flatbed and curtain side trailers and no tarping required.

We provide new safe and reliable equipment, life insurance, a 401K, and paid time off including holiday pay. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL and a proven driving record to join our team.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. No tarping – only strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.

How You’ll Deliver:
