Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a hardworking Loader Operator in Houston, TX to move sand, gravel, and cement using front-end loaders and other heavy equipment. You’ll load/unload materials, inspect gear, and keep safety and efficiency at the forefront.

As part of a close-knit plant crew, you’ll contribute to on-time production, support inventory control, and volunteer for ongoing training and safety improvements. Local home-daily schedule with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Loader experience preferred, but willing to learn and work hard will be trained.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Safety-focused attitude; speak up if something’s not right.
• Ability to check equipment and perform basic fixes.
• Team player with good communication and reliability.
• Physically able to move and work in varying weather.
• Education: high school diploma is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move materials.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
• Work with crew to keep operations on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report issues.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory counts to prevent stockouts.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve processes.
• Lend a hand wherever needed on the job.
