Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Loader Operator to run heavy equipment and help keep our concrete plants running smoothly. You’ll load and move materials, assist with inventory, and work closely with a tight-knit production crew in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders or heavy equipment is preferred but training is available.
• You must care about safety for yourself and teammates.
• You should be a team player with good communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to keep material flowing.
• Work with crew and production teams to stay on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report needed fixes.
• Follow safety rules and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Keep work area clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory counting to prevent shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve processes.
• Be ready to assist teammates or take on additional tasks as needed.
