Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Loader Operator to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment at our plant. You’ll load and move sand, gravel, and cement, keep equipment in good condition, and work safely with your crew.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders or other large machinery; training available.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Commitment to safety and speaking up if something isn’t right.
• Ability to inspect equipment and perform basic fixes.
• Team player with good communication and reliable attendance.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.
• Adheres to SRM’s Safety & Service principles: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, Go-Getter.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins and conveyors.
• Work with crew to keep operations on schedule.
• Check equipment before/after shifts and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Assist with inventory and ensure material availability.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve operations.
