Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Loader Operator to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment across our plants, moving sand, gravel, and cement to keep concrete flowing. You will load/unload trucks and coordinate with your crew to stay on schedule in a safety-first environment.

We value teamwork and reliability; training is provided if you’re willing to learn. A valid driver's license is required, high school diploma helpful but not required, and pre-employment screenings may

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders or other large machinery is preferred but training is provided.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Safety-first mindset with ability to follow safety rules and speak up if something's not right.
• Ability to inspect equipment and perform basic fixes.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to keep materials available.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain on-schedule operations.
• Inspect equipment before/after shifts and report needed repairs.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE; keep plant safe and tidy.
• Maintain an organized work area and assist with inventory checks.
