Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Loader Operator to run heavy equipment, move materials, and support daily plant operations. You will load trucks, perform safety checks, and work with a team to maintain steady production. Qualifications

• Experience running loaders or big machines; we train you.
• Valid Driver's License.
• You care about safety and speak up if something's not right.
• Able to check equipment and perform basic fixes.
• Team player with good communication and reliability.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather.
• HS diploma/equivalent helpful but not required.
• Willing to complete pre-employment screenings.
• Live by SRM's 5 Principles: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, Go-Getter.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to keep materials flowing.
• Collaborate with crew to keep production on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report issues for safety.
• Follow all safety rules and wear required gear at all times.
• Keep work area clean and organized for a safer site.
• Assist with inventory checks to ensure materials are available.
• Share ideas with plant leadership to improve operations.
• Lend a hand wherever needed to support teammates.
