Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Loader Operator to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment at our Perrysburg plant. You’ll move sand, gravel, and cement, load/unload materials, and work with a crew to keep the daily schedule on track.

Qualifications

• Safety rules must be followed and PPE worn.
• Team player who communicates well and shows up ready to work.
• Willingness to learn and work hard; training provided for loaders/big machines.
• Pre-employment screenings will be completed.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
• Work with your crew to keep production on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after each shift and report issues.
• Follow all safety rules and wear gear; keep the plant safe for everyone.
• Keep work area clean and organized; a tidy site is safer.
• Assist with inventory counts to prevent material shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve operations.
• Lend a hand wherever needed on the job.
