Job summary

Smyrna Ready Mix is seeking a Loader Operator to join our Georgia plant. You’ll operate powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement, loading trucks and keeping materials flowing.

You’ll work closely with a production crew, perform basic equipment checks, and adhere to safety rules. We offer overtime opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package, and chances for raises as you contribute to our operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with loader or heavy machinery is preferred, but training is provided.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful but not mandatory.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors as needed.
• Work with crew to keep operations on schedule and safe.
• Check equipment before and after shifts and report issues.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE at all times.
• Keep work area clean and organized to maintain safety.
• Help count inventory and ensure materials are stocked.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve efficiency.
• Lend a hand across tasks as needed to support the team.
