Job summary

Perdue Farms is launching a Live Management Trainee Pathways program in Salisbury, MD, beginning in June 2027. You will embark on a 24‑month leadership development journey with hands-on field learning, rotations through hatchery, feed mill, veterinary services, processing, and other Live Operations areas.

During year one you’ll gain core knowledge of poultry production, producer relationships, and data-driven decision making; year two accelerates growth with mentorship and targeted enrichment,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong customer service, relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent reading, writing, math and verbal communication abilities with analytical/problem-solving capacity.
• Ability to work independently in field-based environments and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured rotations across Live Operations and related functions to learn end-to-end live production.
• Build trusted producer relationships, monitor flock performance, and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, formal mentorship, and leadership development throughout the program.
