Job summary

Perdue Foods in Eagle Springs, NC, is launching a 24-month Live Management Trainee Pathways program to develop future hatchery leaders through hands-on learning, rotations, mentorship, and leadership training.

Participants begin as LMT I (hourly) with rotations across hatchery processes, progressing to LMT II after six months and transitioning to an Assistant Hatchery Manager role after 12 months, with ongoing development into a full leadership path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (within 24 months).
• Good customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong reading, math, written and verbal communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured rotations through core hatchery processes (egg receiving to delivery).
• Learn how hatchery operations connect with other Live Operations functions.
• Lead and participate in Pathways learning, mentoring, and leadership development.
