Job summary

Perdue Foods in Rockingham, NC invites ambitious graduates to join its 24‑month Operations Management Trainee Pathways program. You’ll rotate through key plant operations, receive mentoring, and develop leadership and technical skills to become a future supervisor.

Starting in June 2027, you’ll gain hands-on experience, participate in leadership development, and have opportunities for career advancement and relocation support as you help drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university completed within 24 months of the Pathways Program start date.
• Preferred concentrations: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Management, Business or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0; eligible graduation May 2025–May 2027 for the June 2027 program.
• Must be willing to work a rotation of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across key operational areas to build end-to-end understanding of plant operations.
• Support safety, quality, sanitation, regulatory compliance, and operational standards under experienced leaders.
• Develop leadership and teamwork through mentoring, cohort activities, and career development sessions.
• Prepare for transition into a full-time Production Supervisor role after 12 months.
• Continue accelerating career through continuous improvement projects and leadership development.
