Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the United States. You will supervise all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and enforce allergen safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position runs May through September, with full-time exempt status and a demanding 6‑day/70‑hour week schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, cooking, and problem-solving abilities; able to navigate iPad and diverse ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts; ensure quality and consistency.
