Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. This on-site, live-in position requires managing all prep and production for a day part, staff supervision, and strict allergen safety.

The role offers a minimum 6 days/70 hours per week, competitive pay with a bonus structure, and full room and board for the contract duration. Must be prepared for a demanding camp environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep, production, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking.
• Strict allergen safety protocols and top sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
