Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety.

This on-site, live-in position requires a demanding schedule and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment while upholding strict sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, and allergen safety management.
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must live on-site in rustic setting; 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts.
• Lead and train kitchen staff.
• Manage allergen protocols and health standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between campers and camp leadership.
