Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will lead kitchen operations, supervise staff, and ensure allergen safety while delivering scratch cooking in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
The position is on-site, seasonal May–Sept, with a demanding 6‑day/70‑hour week and benefits including competitive pay and room & board. You will collaborate with camp leadership and campers to uphold quality and safety standards.
Competenze
- 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
- ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
- Strong leadership, adaptable with ingredients, and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to live on-site in rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day minimum week.
