Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camps. You will supervise prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and enforce allergen safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
Strong leadership and scratch baking skills; adept with an iPad.
Able to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 lbs; works on-site in rustic setting.

Responsibilities

Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain a high-energy, positive environment.
Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking and timely meal service.
Strictly manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
