Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural, on-site summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for a designated day part, manage staff, and ensure strict allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This on-site, live-in position requires thriving under pressure, maintaining top sanitation standards, and coordinating with camp leadership to deliver scratch-cooked meals across a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, and versatile with ingredients; sharp problem solving.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; lead and train kitchen staff.
• Ensure scratch cooking execution, portion control, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
