Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership and development. The role directs the technical team to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction, with potential involvement in location administration for onsite operations and career development.

The position reports to the DET, DOO, or Operations Manager and requires 3–5 years in customer service or hospitality, plus AV experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 3–5 years of audio-visual experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Internal and external training and certifications must be completed within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure the timely set up, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs the workflow of technicians and assists management with operational efficiencies.
• Ensures flowsheets are updated and properly completed; coordinates event communications.
• Attends venue meetings as needed (banquet orders, pre/post conferences).
