Job summary

Encore Global seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership and development. The role directly leads the technical team to ensure operational efficiencies and guest satisfaction at our venues.

You will participate in location administration, attend event meetings, mentor technicians, and ensure AV equipment is set up, operated and stored securely. Hospitality and AV experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• Must meet/training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs technician workflow and suggests operational efficiencies to management.
• Ensures flowsheets are updated and properly completed.
• Coordinates communication for event management with the team.
• Attends venue meetings as needed (e.g., daily banquet event order meetings).
• Provides excellent service and upholds Encore’s standards in service and operations.
• Trains technicians on floor activities and Encore standards.
• Performs intermediate audiovisual setup, operation, and breakdown; troubleshoots issues.
