Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will engage with clients on site, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with internal teams to finalize invoices and orders.

Requirements include a High School Diploma (Associate’s degree preferred), at least 1 year in hospitality or AV experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must meet all training and certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Exceeds customer expectations and maintains positive relationships with clients.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Completes system entries and paperwork accurately; uses Navigator for orders.
• Works with clients to finalize invoices and coordinate with vendors.
