Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, reporting to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology. You’ll ensure devices are ready for events, troubleshoot issues, and maintain strong client relations on site.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, 1 year of customer service or AV experience, and a valid driver's license. Training and DOT requirements may apply; lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may apply if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately; coordinate with staff and outside vendors.
• Increase revenue by up-selling and assisting with invoices.
