Job summary

Encore Global in New Orleans is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and a flawless event experience from start to finish. You will work with hotel staff and clients, perform equipment checks, troubleshoot issues, and complete system entries in Navigator while maintaining strong client relationships.

A High School Diploma is required, with an Associate’s degree preferred, and 1 year of customer service or

Qualifications

1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
External applicants must complete required training/certifications within 60 days.

Responsibilities

Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
Exceed guest and client expectations with professional service and effective communication.
Meet with guests on site to verify needs and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
Monitor events and maintain positive client relationships throughout the day.
Complete system entries in Navigator and coordinate with staff/vendors as needed.
