Job summary

Encore is looking for a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring customer satisfaction on every event. The role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and requires strong on-site communication and problem-solving skills.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma (Associate’s preferred), 1 year of hospitality or AV experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot basic AV equipment and software issues.
• Complete system entry and paperwork accurately and interact with staff/vendor teams.
• Utilize Navigator to enter orders and assist with invoicing as needed.
• Support floor up-selling to increase revenue.
