Encore New Orleans is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction. You’ll report to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and work on on-site events in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities include flawless equipment setup, on-site guest interaction, troubleshooting, and accurate paperwork in Navigator. A high school diploma is required, with preferred associates and one year in customer service or AV.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Flawless setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and resolve problems promptly.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately; use Navigator for entries.
• Increase revenue by up-selling equipment when appropriate; finalize invoices.
