Job summary

Encore Global seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment. You will ensure client satisfaction through accurate setup, operation, and timely breakdown of equipment, while coordinating with staff and vendors.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliable equipment operation, and basic technical problem solving, with opportunities to contribute to revenue through up-selling and accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceeds internal and external customer expectations and maintains positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoots basic equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Follows company processes, completes paperwork accurately, and coordinates with clients and vendors for equipment.
