Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment. The role emphasizes milestone customer satisfaction, on-site guest interaction, and timely equipment management to ensure events run smoothly.

Responsibilities include equipment setup/breakdown, on-site client communication, basic troubleshooting, and accurate paperwork. The role requires lifting capability and a valid driver’s license, with occasional cross-location

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Associate’s degree preferred.
1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
Exceeds expectations of internal and external customers and maintains client relationships.
Troubleshoots basic equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
Completes systems entry and paperwork accurately and uses Navigator for order entries.
