Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic AV systems in a hotel/conference environment. You will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering reliable equipment, timely setup, operation, and breakdown under supervision of the Operations Manager.

On-site duties include coordinating with clients, vendors, and staff, performing basic troubleshooting, completing paperwork, and assisting with invoices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in a hospitality environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Internal/External training requirements as outlined by Encore’s program.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment on site.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works.
• Troubleshoot basic AV issues and communicate effectively with clients.
• Complete systems entry, paperwork, and invoicing as required.
