Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an on-site AV Technician in a hotel/convention center environment to professionally set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual systems. You will meet clients on site, ensure equipment functions, and maintain strong client relationships throughout events.

The role requires 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience and 1 year of AV experience; a valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
Strives to exceed internal and external customer expectations and maintains client relationships.
Troubleshoots basic equipment and software issues and communicates effectively with clients.
Completes order entries and uses Navigator for system processes and paperwork.
