Job summary

Encore Global in a hotel/conference setting seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems and ensure guest satisfaction. You will work under the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology, handling setup, operation, and breakdown, troubleshooting, and coordinating with clients to ensure equipment performs as required.

Responsibilities include following procedures, entering orders into Navigator, up-selling where appropriate, and assisting with invoices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment per official specs.
• Serve guests on site and maintain client relationships.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues.
• Manage equipment sheets and coordinate with staff/vendors.
• Process orders and finalize invoices with clients.
• Enter orders into Navigator.
