Job summary

Shook, Hardy & Bacon L.L.P. seeks a data and document management professional who can understand database functionality and maintain client/matter information according to firm procedures.

You will assist with locating documents, preparing trial materials, setting up files for complex projects, supporting docketing, and helping with document assembly (e.g., HotDocs) and data uploads across databases.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates understanding of database functionality and how to use it for daily tasks.
• Analyzes, enters and maintains client/matter information in line with procedures.
• Reviews and searches databases to locate documents and information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, enter, and maintain client/matter information in databases.
• Assist with compiling, reviewing, and coding documents for litigation and discovery.
• Set up client files for complex projects and prepare materials for depositions, productions, and trials.
• Assist with daily docketing tasks, calendaring dates, and prepare docket reports.
• Provide data for client-billing requirements and process vendor invoices.
• Prepare routine documents using document assembly software (e.g., HotDocs).
