Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Line Cook 2 to join Alltown Fresh’s culinary team. You will prep fresh ingredients, wash and chop vegetables, and assist in meal prep with locally sourced ingredients, while showing dedication to hospitality.

You will collaborate with a culinary team, ensure labels and stock are accurate, and help train new hires. A ServSafe certification and a high school diploma are preferred; flexibility for early mornings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Basic knife and food preparation skills required.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and storage practices.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients with state-of-the-art equipment, wash and chop vegetables, and cut meat.
• Label, stock ingredients, and maintain an organized workspace.
• Prepare sauces or accompaniments before service.
• Interact with guests to showcase passion for foodservice and hospitality.
• Assist in training new culinary hires.
• Communicate inventory and kitchen needs to the Chef.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and rotate stock as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment; perform daily/weekly cleaning.
• Be aware of allergens and dietary restrictions, accommodating guests accordingly.
