Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Line Cook 2 for Alltown Fresh to support a culinary team with prep, labeling, and stocking of ingredients using locally sourced items. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring quality, safety, and guest satisfaction while maintaining inventory and assisting in training new staff.

Responsibilities include following health and safety standards, preparing sauces, and communicating needs to the Chef.

Qualifications

• Basic knife and food preparation skills.
• Understanding of safe food handling and storage.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep, label and stock ingredients; maintain organized workspace.
• Prepare sauces or accompaniments before service.
• Interact with guests to showcase passion for foodservice and hospitality.
• Assist in training new culinary hires and communicate inventory needs to Chef.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and rotate stock items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work station and kitchen.
