Global Partners LP's Alltown Fresh in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Line Cook 2 with a passion for the kitchen and locally sourced ingredients. You will work with a culinary team using state-of-the-art equipment to prep, wash, and chop ingredients, label and stock items, and prepare sauces or accompaniments before service.

Flexibility with hours is required; ServSafe certification is needed, and a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Basic knife and food preparation skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings, weekends, holidays).
• Understanding of safe food handling and storage.
• Must obtain ServSafe certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, wash and chop vegetables and ingredients using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Label, stock, and prep ingredients to maintain organized workspace.
• Prepare sauces or accompaniments before service.
• Interact with guests to showcase passion for foodservice and hospitality.
• Assist in training new culinary hires.
• Communicate inventory and kitchen needs to Chef (prep, grab-and-go items, cleaning supplies).
• Follow safe food handling procedures and rotate stock.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work environment and assist with dishwashing as needed.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
